Documenting High-Tech Innovation, Lifestyle, and Community in Boston and Beyond

I teamed up recently with the folks at Ecole Française Greater Boston, a French immersion school for kids in preschool to 5th grade. We spent the morning shooting both stills and video at their campus in Cambridge. EFGB was looking to update their marketing materials to include lifestyle photography of their students wearing masks and washing their hands to stay safe in this time of Covid. It’s important that parents see the protocols that keep their children safe as they learn. We spent the morning capturing both photography and video, documenting the students as they navigated their day. Check out the results below and on my website at www.markmendozaphoto.com.

I’d like to welcome a new client, Teledyne-Princeton Instruments, part of the Teledyne family of companies. Princeton Instruments designs and manufactures high performance cameras for a wide range of scientific and industrial applications. They have facilities based in Acton, MA and Trenton, NJ. As part of their OEM operations, Princeton partners with physical and life sciences companies to custom build cameras to their clients’ exact specifications. They hired me recently for a product photography shoot of their latest infrared cameras.  I focused on showcasing the details and high quality build of product in order for consumers to trust the product.

The Life Sciences industry in Greater Boston has never been hotter, and two companies, Dispendix and Cytena in South Boston, both subsidiaries of BICO Group AB, are a prime example of companies developing leading edge products to serve the ever growing number of labs across New England and around the world. I collaborated recently with both companies to shoot product photography of their product offerings on-site in offices in South Boston and Waltham, MA.  Capturing the clean look of the machines and every little detail is essential for companies in the field of life sciences. There can’t be any confusion or mistake when taking product photos for machines with such specific use. Lighting the product perfectly allows the viewers to see everything without being distracted by unnecessary shadows or reflections. Check out the results below and at www.markmendozaphoto.com
